| IIA ready for new censor battle
For a decade, the IIA has been fighting legislation that would force internet companies to act as censors and filter internet content. The industry escaped the laws in 1999 when the Howard government approved a co-regulatory scheme giving the communications watchdog power to order ISPs to take down prohibited content hosted in Australia. Last August the coalition began supplying software to screen content as part of $190 million plan to shield children from online sex predators and pornography. Around that time, Senator Conroy said that if elected, Labor would introduce laws requiring ISPs to provide "clean feeds". After the election, the IIA has cranked up its anti-filter lobbying. "This has remained a fairly controversial political issue for a long time in Australia," Mr Coroneos said.

Shares in Scania fell by 6.3 percent to 129.25 kronor. Ericsson's long-suffering shareholders saw the company's stock drop to its lowest point since December 2003. Shares in Ericsson lost 3.1 percent of their value and are now worth just 12.56, a 17.2 percent drop since the beginning of the year.

Fourth player faces charges
Taylor, a sophomore from Clinton, Md., was temporarily suspended from the football team in early February until "[his] academic situation improves and any off-the-field issues are behind [him]," according to a statement released by the athletic department last month. Former wide receiver Chris Bell was suspended from the team at the same time and has also been mentioned in court documents as a participant; however, he is not facing criminal charges. Baker, Bowman and Timmons were "excused" from the football team in late January. Baker and Bowman were originally arraigned in mid-November on the same charges Taylor now faces. Although Centre County District Judge Carmine Prestia dropped the aggravated assault charges for both men in a Dec. 5 preliminary hearing, Centre County Assistant District Attorney Steve Sloane refiled the charges later that month, and the charges were sent to trial in January under a different judge.

State to get rare stone artifacts
People who found them did not know until recent years what they were."We had no idea," Abernethy said. "We didn't get too excited at first, just thinking they were kind of crude. They're not like real nice arrowheads."Bruce Huckell, a University of New Mexico anthropology professor, became aware of the discovery a few years ago and identified the artifacts for what they were, Abernethy said.Huckell declined to be interviewed, saying he was barred from doing so because of a commitment to the National Geographic Society, which has provided research funding. The society declined to allow Huckell to immediately be interviewed.Swenson said the Clovis artifacts are not the first to be discovered in North Dakota; there are some in private collections. But she said it will be the first time there will be such prehistoric items on public display, and the small site in Golden Valley County where they were found is the first documented Clovis site in the state."There's much to be learned since there are relatively few sites (nationwide)," she said.
