I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never know. Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I deploy once more. Semper Fidelis.Sgt. Howard C. Wright1st Force Recon Co1st Plt PLTPLEASE DON'T DELETE THIS . . ALLOW IT TO BE PASSED TO ALL IN MEMORY OF ALL THE TROOPS WHO HAVE DIED SO THAT WE MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO SUPPORT THEM OR NOT! ! ! Also, don't forget that when the Twin Trade Towers were hit the fire fighters and rescueworkers went to Starbucks because it was close by for water for the survivors and workers and Starbucks charged them!!! JUST A NOTE TO THIS; STARBUCKS HAD STORESON SEVERAL MILITARY BASES IN THE UNITED STATES.THEY ARE NOW BEING REMOVED BECAUSE OF THIS.

Isolate them from the global economy as effectively as we can.Target there military installations with nuclear weapons. Note I did not sayattack them with nuclear weapons. Just target. Pressure them to change theirpolicies concerning repression of dissent in their country. Allow the use ofprivateers to target vessels flying the ChiCom flag without reprisal. Shut downany international air traffic in and out of China. Confiscate all Chineseassets in the US and pressure Europe to do the same. If they want to try andmess with our high tech infrastructure we should feel free to mess with themeconomically also.If a bully pushes you on the play ground the worst thing you can do is ignorethem. 20- and 24-inch Aluminum iMacs
The thin-display-on-a-solid-foot design first arrived on the scene in August 2004 as the iMac G5, and survived through the Intel transition (the iMac was Apple's first Intel-based system) in January 2006. Sure, Apple has made some major improvements inside, but it's been three years since the iMac has gotten any cosmetic enhancements. That's definitely changed with the latest round of iMac updates. A new look Gone is the distinctive snow-white iMac case—Apple's design team has done some tweaking to the familiar all-in-one computer. Color Scheme The latest iMac replaces much of the body, with a solid piece of anodized aluminum—taking a cue from the Mac Pro ( ) and MacBook Pro ( ) models. The gray Apple logo has become an obsidian-like black, which matches the nearly inch-wide black border around the display.
American Idol Buzz
Some of the regulars in the know are aware that this myajc.com/idolblog social networking site, which launched a year ago, was an experiment. Not to say the experiment is over but due to some management decisions beyond my control, we are having to move this back to the old blog template used by the other blogs on this site (including my radio/tv blog.) This means your avatars, comments and personal pages will disappear in a few weeks. All my old blog entries from 2007 were mirrored on the old site and will survive the transition. The change will occur at 9:30 p.m. EST Tuesday, January 9. From that moment, if you type in www.myajc.com/idolblog, it will move you to an even simpler site called www.ajc.com/idolblog. So easy you can tell your friends and bookmark it! The bosses tell me a new social networking site will be back, possibly midseason but definitely by midyear, no later.

Can your dog pay taxes, give consent, sign a form, take on your debt, authorize end of life care, co-sign a mortgage or provide health insurance to you? I find it odd that people who oppose same sex marriage so often trot out this straw man argument. If - when confronted with sex between consenting adults - your thoughts automatically turn to bestiality, I'm thinking you ought to seek professional help. Baptist College Opens Door to Non-Baptist Christian Groups
The Baylor Board of Regents revised the university wide organizational religion policy on Friday, welcoming Christian groups in addition to Baptist ones to meet and be chartered at Baylor, according to the school news publication, The Lariat. In an editorial on Tuesday, The Lariat applauded the "overdue" revision, noting that Methodists, Catholics and Presbyterians among other groups have been treated like "Christian step-children" for too long. The revision will make the university "more welcoming" of other Christian organizations, Baylor University president John M. Lilley said, as reported by the student publication. Baylor students had passed a bill early last year in an effort to grant non-Baptist Christian groups the same privileges as Baptist organizations on campus.
The Footnote Police vs. Ward Churchill
The University of Colorado committee investigating Ward Churchill has found him guilty, guilty, guilty. And on some level, they're right: Churchill is guilty of occasionally shoddy scholarship and the dubious practice of ghostwriting, and perhaps even more. But we should be alarmed by the investigative committee's report, and not merely because the committee exists only because of a concerted effort to fire Churchill for his obnoxious and idiotic comments about 9/11 victims. .
