Eh, what's up, maestro?

The popular show syncs a live symphony performance to the big-screen antics of Bugs, Elmer Fudd, Wile E. Coyote, the Road Runner and other vintage characters from the Warner Bros. vaults. It's the brainchild of conductor George Daugherty, an Emmy Award winner who works regularly with some of the most prominent orchestras around the globe. But part of his musical life belongs to Bugs -- he's now in his 18th year of leading symphonies through this melodic joy ride that so far has delighted nearly 2 million people.Daugherty, who will conduct the Fresno ensemble, says it's not difficult to figure out why so many people have leaped at the Bugs experience."It's that mix of highbrow and lowbrow, for lack of a better description, that makes this concert so engaging," Daugherty says in a telephone interview from his San Francisco home.

Unique entries: Camden Iron makes custom-designed steel gates for ...

In many of Camden's designs, the colors change depending on the viewer's vantage point. Once the gate is completed, it is given a clear-powder coat, adding protection and sheen. His gates have a three-dimensional quality to them. A horse's mane ripples on one gate. In another, six pieces of metal form a cowboy's hat on a rider leading a team of pack horses loaded with elk. In another, fish seem to wriggle as they swim through the water. Details on the gates are designed to be seen from both sides. Camden even adds flourishes such as pine cones. He's built about seven gates so far, with prices ranging from $30,000 to $48,500.The gates take several months from initial consultation to final installation. He said he's ended up friends with his clients, going hunting or fishing with them."There is nobody doing what I do with gates," Camden said.

Sure, sure, it's all been done before, but now I get to do it. Without further ado, here is my all-name team. 20 - Rod Smart - Who the Hell is Rod Smart you ask? Well he is none other than the fool who called himself "He Hate Me" and pretty much epitomized the debacle that was the XFL. 19. Elbert L. "Ickey" Woods - Running back his entire carreer for the Bengals. Hey, how many guys not named Humpty Hump have a dance named after them. The Ickey Shuffle remains high on the all time celebrations list. 18. "Chocolate Thunder" Darryl Dawkins - Perhaps more appropriate for wrestling or porn, but still has a nice ring to it. 17. "Pistol" Pete Maravich - LSU grad was a known practicioner of yoga, a part time ufologist, and could also play a little basketball. Died of a heart attack in 1988 at a young age.

Performing Arts: Memoirs of a soprano

While most vocalists dream of going to the West to study, Tan Khar Gee chose China and stayed there for six years. But the Coloratura Soprano, touted as a rising star in the local classical singing fraternity, did not see her her future as a vocal performer, when she first studied music. I did quite well in my studies and my first vocal recital in 1996 had very good reviews, said Tan. I had wanted to go to England to pursue my Masters until I met a vocal teacher from China whom I learnt a lot from. So I decided to go to Beijing and study under Professior Wang Bin-Rui, she added. Her six year stint in Beijing culminated with her impressive performance in the opera La Traviata in which she played the lead role of Violetta. Armed with her Masters in Vocal, Tan headed to Milan to obtain her second Masters in Vocal Performance at the Accademia Lirica Italiana.

Wall Street Noticing That The Math On iPhones Doesn't Add Up

Plus the fact that in the first 90 days (we are not on day 209 of the iPhone being on sale) the iPhone matched the market share of all other competitor and was only behind RIM. Imagine, thats first 90 days so you do the math, but that seems like the iPhone is doing fine. Now, as for the missing numbers, it could also account to a much higher unlocked units. I can tell you from personal fact that it had to be higher then that. I wont get into details of how i know this.

While not as elegant I've been doing what the iPhone does for years and much much more. The 3rd party app support while non-existent on the iPhone is fantastic on a Windows Mobile device. Just as AlGoracle invented the Internet SteveJobs invented a "Revolutionary" Cell Phone....
